Bliss Carman Middle School offers awards that recognize and celebrate high academic achievement. These awards are:
Achievement Award of Distinction: For students in grade 8 who have excelled far above and beyond subject area expectations throughout their time at Bliss Carman Middle School. This student will also have demonstrated that their work surpasses grade level expectations. This will be determined by a committee of educational experts.
Achievement Award: For students in grade 8 who have demonstrated substantial understanding and consistent proficiency throughout their time at Bliss Carman Middle School. This student will also have demonstrated that their work surpasses grade level expectations.
BCMS Eagles Honours Certificate: For students who have demonstrated substantial understanding and consistent proficiency with curricular outcomes in the different subject areas. This yearly award is based on a student’s overall achievement and presented to the student at a general assembly at the end of each school year
In addition to the awards noted here, there are other awards recognizing Bliss Carman students in various ways throughout the school year.
